Upper Iowa University invites applicants for the position of Director of Athletics. The Director of Athletics is responsible for the overall management of the Iowa’s only NCAA Division II athletics program. The Director of Athletics reports to the President and is responsible for the sound fiscal management of the general operating and scholarship budgets, fundraising, marketing, promotion, and insuring the academic integrity of the institution’s student athletes.
As the Chief Athletics Officer, the Director of Athletics provides executive leadership and vision to guide and grow the athletics program in a manner commensurate with the mission, values and Strategic Plan of the University.
Upper Iowa University is member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, NCAA Division II and competes in twelve sports (six for women and six for men).
