"The educational opportunities provided through UIU makes me proud to be a Peacock. I was a non-traditional student while attending UIU pursuing a Bachelors degree in Human Services on the Fort Riley Campus. I found that UIU was perfect for an active duty service member. The quality of the classes provided through UIU prepared me for graduate school. Upon completion of my Bachelors in Human Services I was accepted to a Master of Social Work Program. I am now an adjunct faculty member at the Fort Riley Center. Being an adjunct faculty member allows me to continue to give back to the educational experiences of others and provides joy in my life to know that I will always be a Peacock."
