Workstudy

Students majoring in IT can work in the lab. They learn new skills and gain necessary hands-on experience to enhance their learning. Make sure to check this option!

International students may be eligible for a workship program.

The information technology lab is equipped with the latest Dell servers, Cisco networking equipment, student constructed parallel computer, virtual reality headsets, and 3D projection systems. The lab provides students access to high performance laptop computers to capture lecture notes and complete assignments. In addition, the information technology lab features a Microsoft Surface Computer for students to develop games and other applications.

In the lab students have access to the latest Microsoft Windows operating systems, office suite, and important open source products and tools.

Edward L. Paine and Gertrude Pease Paine Scholarship

Established in memory of Edward L. Paine, class of 1932 and a career math teacher, and Gertrude Pease Paine, class of 1935, this scholarship is awarded to a student in the math/science field.

The Paul and Margaret Pickett Scholarship

The Paul and Margaret Pickett Scholarship is awarded to a recipient who is currently enrolled in, or has successfully completed, courses in calculus or advanced mathematics. Dr. Paul Pickett was professor of education from 1953 to 1975 and appreciated the importance of mathematics in one’s overall learning.

Raymond Deming Scholarship in Mathematics
