Transferring Credits
Upper Iowa recognizes and rewards the prior educational efforts of our students, and we offer a variety of means through which you may obtain UIU credit for your past coursework or credit-waiving exams. Programs offered to military service members will accept up to 45 semester credits toward your Associate of Arts degree and up to 90 semester credits toward your Bachelor of Science degree.
* You will be able to transfer credits from ACE, CLEP, DSST, ACT/PEP, Excelsior College Exams, AARTS (Army), SMART (Navy/Marines), CCAF (Air Force), CGI (Coast Guard), courses at other accredited colleges and universities, military training and experiential learning. Credit application may vary with your chosen program of study and may not duplicate prior college credit.
