Nationally regarded distance learning programs
At UIU, you may attend class anytime during the day that fits your schedule. Both of our distance learning programs welcome students from any state and do not require on-site residency.
Independent Study Program
Modeled after traditional correspondence learning, it is a paper/email based program specifically designed to make learning as flexible as possible. Using texts, study guides, and other course materials, you learn by completing specific assignments. Assignments are submitted to the instructors by email, postal mail, or fax. You may enroll in a course at any time and take up to six-months to complete the course.

UIU’s learning centers offer evening and weekend classes that provide students the convenience to pursue new opportunities. Our learning centers offer the perfect learning environment where students feel welcome and find a new commitment to pursuing academic goals.
