Homecoming Information 2012

Reunions and Banquets

Alumni and friends are invited to the Hall of Fame Banquet on Friday and the Alumni Banquet on Saturday.  On Friday, new members of UIU's Athletic Hall of Fame will be inducted.  Members of the classes of '42, '52, '62, and '72 will gather for an informal luncheon with the Board of Trustees and University leaders on Friday afternoon, and the Class of '62 will be presented with 50-year medallions at the Alumni Banquet on Saturday evening.  Alumni Awards will be recognized at the banquet.  A special invitation is extended to the honor classes of '42, '52, '62, '72, '87, and '02. 

Homecoming Golf Tournament

A four-person, best-shot golf tournament will be held on Friday at Big Rock Country Club. Registration is at 9:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. Call 563-425-5388.

UIU Art Exhibit

Visit the Bing-Davis Memorial Gallery in Edgar Fine Arts Hall Friday and Saturday to view the works of Belize artists. A Homecoming reception and gathering for art alumni will be held in the gallery on Saturday.

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped parking spaces will be reserved Saturday on a first-come, first-served basis in the parking lot on the south end of the soccer field next to the Football Complex. Beginning at noon, extra parking and rides will be available by the Victory Gate on Union Street for those unable to walk to the stadium.
