Here’s how:
- Information, applications and pictures of these plates can be found on the Iowa Department of Transportation website at www.iowadot.gov/mvd/ovs/plates/private.htm
- The fees are $25 for numbered plates and $50 for personalized plates, with a $5 annual validation fee.
- Applications must be submitted to the Office of Vehicle Services.
- Your completed plates will be sent to the appropriate County Treasurer’s office.
