Garbee Hall
Garbee Hall is the primary living area for residence hall students. North tower has 2 1/2 floors for women and South Tower has 4 floors for men. Each floor contains 36 rooms, a laundry room, and a community bathroom. On second floor north and third floor south are kitchens for residence hall students to use. All rooms are designed for two students. Rooms measure 12' x 15' and contain 2 desks, 2 bunkable beds, 2 wardrobes, 2 dressers, 2 desk chairs, and 2 bookshelf units.
Non-Smoking Floor
Certain floors of Garbee Hall have been designated as non-smoking or no tobacco. Smoking is only allowed in student rooms but on these floors smoking is not permitted anywhere including individual rooms.
Lee Tower
Lee Tower is the newest addition to the Residence Life facilities, opening in Fall of '97. Lee Tower is comprised of 6 suites with 2 suites per floor and is capable of housing 47 students. Each suite contains 4 bedrooms (2 students per bedroom), 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and living room area. Each suite is equipped with a TV with built-in VCR and a full kitchen including stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Each floor shares a laundry facility. Air conditioning is provided. Each bedroom contains 2 bunkable beds, 2 dressers, 2 movable desks with desklight and bookshelf, 2 desk chairs, and 2 built-in closets. Lee Tower is designed for upper-class students who are ready for a more independent lifestyle. Students are able to apply in the spring for the following year.
Hofmaster Apartments
Hofmaster Apartments was converted to a student facility in the Fall of '96. It is made up of 6 apartments with 2 apartments per floor and houses 35 men. Each apartment has 3 bedrooms (2 students per bedroom), a bathroom, and kitchen. Air conditioning is provided. Each kitchen contains a stove, refrigerator, and microwave. Laundry facilities are available on the bottom floor.
Bedrooms in Hofmaster are equipped with 2 bunkable beds, 2 dressers, 2 movable desks with desklight and bookshelf, 2 desk chairs, and 2 built-in closets. Hofmaster is designed for upper-class students who are ready for a more independent lifestyle. Students are able to apply in the spring for the following year.
