The Fort Polk Center of Upper Iowa University was established in 1995. The center offers Bachelor of Science degrees in nine majors and six minors on site. Additionally, it can offer courses than when blended with our distance learning programs can lead to a degree in eleven other majors. Undergraduate certificate programs are also available.

There are five 8-week terms offered each academic year. All classes are offered on-post in the evenings and on weekends to minimize disruption to your military duties or work schedule.

We pride ourselves on our service to the total military family: Active, Guard & Reserve servicemembers and their families, retirees, veterans and DOD civilians, as well as the surrounding communities.
