Why do you support the Upper Iowa University Annual Fund?
"We are happy to belong to the UIU family and would not be where we are today, personally or professionally, if we had not experienced UIU. We give because it makes us feel proud to be part of the 150 year history. By giving to the university, we are helping to build the foundation of learning for students at Fayette, our centers and learners spread throughout the world. "My years at UIU are memorable to me in many ways, but mostly because of my being able to have close, personal discourse with my professors. For the most part, classes were small enough to permit this. I feel that smaller colleges and universities are very important in today’s society as some potentially good students can be lost in the cracks of the much larger institutions. This was the case for me. It is for this reason that I try to give as much as I can to Upper Iowa’s Annual Fund Drive."
