Ceremonial Groundbreaking - Governor Chet Culver spoke on August 25, 2009 as Upper Iowa University celebrated the ceremonial groundbreaking of a $75 million construction project on the Fayette Campus. Holiday Giving Flourishes at UIU - As the holiday spirit wafts through the halls of Upper Iowa University, it has once again prompted numerous acts of charitable giving and volunteerism among the faculty, staff, and students. View the holiday press release.

UIU to Exhibit Unnasch's 'The Aesthete Hobbyist' - Upper Iowa University will exhibit ‘The Aesthete Hobbyist’ by artist Karl Unnasch in the Bing-Davis Gallery, Edgar Fine Arts Hall, on the Fayette campus from Jan. 11 to Feb. 9. Learn more about this event.

UIU Receives Two Acknowledgments as a Top Military-Friendly University - Upper Iowa University has again been recognized for its commitment to U.S. military service personnel and veterans by being named to Military Advanced Education (MAE) magazine’s “3rd Annual Guide to Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities” and the 2010 list for top-military friendly schools published by G.I.
