Peacocks Defeat Mustangs in Home Opener
The Peacock men's soccer team was victorious in their home opener today as they defeated the Mustangs of Mount Mercy 4-0 in a physical battle at Pattison Field. The Peacocks dominated the first half as they took a 3-0 lead into the locker room at halftime. Upper Iowa outshot Mount Mercy 26-8 for the game and converted four of those shots for scores to pick up the 4-0 win and improve their record to 2-1-0. (MORE)

Upper Iowa Stays Undefeated with Victory over Mount Mercy
The Upper Iowa women's soccer team welcomed Mount Mercy in their home opener today. The Peacocks put two scores on the board early in the first half and added two more late in the second to take the match with the Mustangs 4-0. The victory kept the Peacocks undefeated early in their 2008 season with a 2-0-1 record. (MORE)

Upper Iowa Sweeps Wartburg
Upper Iowa hosted Wartburg in a women's volleyball match on Wednesday night in Fayette. The Peacocks and Knights renewed what used to be a rivalry when both teams competed in Division III and the Iowa Conference. Now, Upper Iowa is a member of Division II and a member of the Northern Sun. The Peacocks swept the Knights in three games using good defense and overpowering play at the net. Upper Iowa won set one 25-15, set two 25-21, and set three 29-27. (MORE)
