» A final salute to winter
Fayette (March 28, 2008) - A snowman fashioned out of yesterday's late spring snow mysteriously materialized overnight on Upper Iowa University's (UIU) campus. It appears to be giving a final salute to winter as it stands in front of Concentric by artist Mark Statsz, one of 13 sculptures on university grounds. The Green Goddess of Peace atop UIU's Alexander-Dickman Hall can also be seen in the background.
