FAYETTE, Iowa (October 3, 2008) -Upper Iowa University seniors Storm Schmitt, Sumner, and Carlyn Wacker, Waukon, were chosen homecoming king and queen during coronation at the Fayette Opera House Thursday evening, Oct. 2. UIU President Alan G. Walker crowned the royalty.

          The senior Homecoming court candidates included Dani Dreeszen, Spirit Lake; Danielle DeSerano, Evansdale; Kyle Hosch, Walker; Jennifer Lee, Pleasant Prairie, WI; Craig Signorin, Franksville, WI; Brian Solemsaas, Bismarck, ND and Josh Wells, River Falls, WI.

          Homecoming attendants were juniors Mallery Cox, Anchorage, AK; Travis Eggers, Monona, and Ashley Spooner, Evansdale; sophomores Chelsea Arndt, Mapleton, MN and J. R. Baker, Clermont, and freshman Shane Elbert, Denver and Amy Maurer, Cedar Rapids.
