Baton Rouge, LA
Upper Iowa University opened its Baton Rouge Center on July 1, 2012. The center is located on the Louisiana State Police Training Academy Campus (Bldg C) and is available to anyone seeking to obtain a college degree. There are six eight-week terms offered each academic year, with all classes taught at the Louisiana State Police Training Academy (Bldg A) in the evenings to minimize disruption to working adult learners. Our liberal transfer policy will maximize your previous credit from other colleges and universities, and for civilian and military experience. Upper Iowa has articulation agreements with Baton Rouge, Bossier Parish, Delgado, Nunez, River Parishes and LSU-E to assist transfer students. We have also partnered with the Fraternal Order of Police and the Louisiana State Troopers Association to provide quality education to law enforcement officers. Watch the Bulletin Board on this page for local postings.
