The Upper Iowa Center in Rockford, IL, opened in 2008, and currently offers bachelor of science degrees in 12 majors. With a current enrollment of approximately 100 students, courses are offered primarily in the evening. Instructors bring practical work experience to the classroom experience for students. The 13,000-square-foot building includes eight classrooms and a cutting-edge computer lab. Courses are offered during six eight-week terms. Watch the Bulletin Board on this page for local postings.

The UIU Online Program also offers master's degree programs and many of the courses for an undergraduate degree plan. All UIU courses, regardless of how you take them, count toward completion of your degree.

Although the schedule may be subject to change, currently the 2012-13 academic year includes the following terms:

The Rockford Center includes a computer lab and a study room. Students have access to Smarthinking.com and general writing and math resources via the links below. Students are encouraged to study collaboratively. Please contact the Center Director at 815-332-1414 for more information.
