OFFICIAL UIU TYPE
The University brand includes the use of complimentary typefaces. The approved fonts are Berkley Bold and Berkley Book. As a general rule, Berkley Bold should be used for display of the university name and the tagline “Established in 1857” should be in Berkley Book.
Please Note: The official UIU logo must contain the official Trademark symbol in order to properly utilize the logo and its branding presence. Make sure you use only the logo with the TM in superscript letters, placed to the right of 1857, whenever you use the Upper Iowa University logo, whether it is on letterhead, envelopes, business cards, posters, flyers, etc.
Although there may be other weights available in these fonts, they are not part of the approved family of fonts. For instance, Adobe Garmond Pro is very similar, but is not considered an approved substitute for Berkley Bold.
Serif Fonts (approved with use of the University logo)
Please see an example below on the usage of required fonts to be used with the university logo.
