Web Services/Research
Kunze is the University webmaster; he manages the planning, implementation, and evaluation of UIU’s overall web strategy. Some of his duties include preparing strategic and operational plans, maintaining the content management system, training content managers, acting as liaison with various client and stakeholder groups, preparing and disseminating relevant web analytics reports. Kunze also maintains the OCM budget and conducts market research.

Kunze has been at Upper Iowa since 1990, serving as an instructor and later assistant professor of history on the Fayette campus. He became UIU’s full-time webmaster in 2000 and has been involved with managing the website since 1995. In addition to serving as web services & research specialist, he is an adjunct instructor in UIU’s Independent Study program.
Kunze has bachelor of science and master of science degrees from the University of Minnesota. More recently he completed the web analytics program offered through the Web Analytics Association and the University of British Columbia.
