Donahue won title of "Mr. UIU" 2010
The annual “Mr. UIU” competition, sponsored by Upper Iowa’s Gamma Delta Phi sorority, was held Tuesday, April 6 in Garbee Hall on the Fayette campus. Nine male students entered the competition and were judged based on their choice of casual or beach wear, answers to select questions, and a demonstrated talent.
Senior Jeremy Donahue, St. Marys, Iowa, won the title of Mr. UIU 2010. Donahue served in Iraq, is a member of the reserves, and is majoring in conservation management. For his talent, Donahue sang "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" by Lady Antebellum and played the guitar.
The Mr. UIU competition has been an annual affair held on the Fayette campus for over five years and is open to all male students. Approximately 200 students attended this year’s event and voted for their favorite contestant.
