Wrestling team NSIC champions send 6 to nationals
After winning the NSIC championship, the Peacocks focused on the NCAA Super Regional hosted by Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota on Sunday, February 28. All eight teams in the region sent ten wrestlers to the regional, with the top four individuals in each weight class advancing to the NCAA Division II Championships in Omaha, Nebraska on March 12-13. Ranked third as they entered the Super Regional, Upper Iowa finished third and will be sending six wrestlers to the national championships in Omaha on March 12-13. Headed to Nebraska are Tyler Mumbulo, Travis Eggers, Mitch Norton, Kyle Pedretti, Justin Decker, and Derek Stolarzyk.
