Upper Iowa University Veterans Day program to feature fly over
FAYETTE, Iowa (October 27, 2010) — The public is invited to attend Upper Iowa University’s Veterans Day program on Thursday, November 11, at Noon. The service will be held at the UIU Veterans Memorial on Union Street across from Dorman Gymnasium on the Fayette Campus.
The program will include a Color Guard presentation and words from UIU President Alan G. Walker and other invited guests. The UIU choir will sing “God Bless America,” followed by a wreath presentation and reception.
Special at this year’s event, following the ceremony, will be a military fly over by the U.S. Air Force.
