the second annual Influential Women on
Campus event as part of Women’s

FAYETTE, Iowa (April 1, 2011) — Upper Iowa University recognized the contributions of women to UIU during its second annual “Influential Women on Campus” event recently. The awards are presented as part of the University’s observance of national Women’s History Month in March.
UIU President Alan G. Walker noted that women have historically made significant contributions to the University’s success, a tradition which continues today. Also speaking at the event were Stephanie Johnson Wright, J.D., Waterloo, the first African American district attorney for the Northern District of Iowa, and UIU alumna Andria Holub, regional mobility service manager, AT&T Mobility, Des Moines, who is currently completing a doctorate in organizational psychology.
