17 seniors honored at Fort Riley upon completion of Upper Iowa University degrees
FORT RILEY, Kansas (January 11, 2011) – Seventeen Upper Iowa University seniors were honored recently during ceremonies at Fort Riley, Kansas, which celebrated students who have completed degree requirements through the on-base educational programs. Fort Riley Education Services is a college/university consortium that includes Upper Iowa University, Central Michigan University, University of Mary, Southwestern College, Central Texas College and Barton Community College. Students recognized at the ceremony also included seniors who completed their degrees through TUI University, Thomas Edison State College, and Hutchinson Community College.
Speaker for the ceremony was Col. Kevin Brown, commander of the Fort Riley Garrison. Wayne Converse, UIU South Central Regional Director, also participated.
