Upper Iowa University to host Veterans Day observance
FAYETTE, Iowa (October 26, 2011) – Upper Iowa University will host a Veterans Day ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 11, at the UIU War Memorial.
Dr. Bill Duffy is the featured speaker. Duffy, senior vice president for Academic Extension at UIU, began his career in higher education after retiring as a colonel from the U.S. Army. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy.
The ceremony will be held at the UIU Veterans Memorial on Union Street across from Dorman Gymnasium on the Fayette Campus.
