FAYETTE, Iowa (August 10, 2012) – Peacock athletes returned to Upper Iowa University in Fayette and registered for classes this week. The first day of the 2012-13 academic year is August 20 at the Fayette campus and August 27 at other UIU locations.
Members of the football team returned this week for orientation and practice. Other athletes will also soon be returning to campus. UIU will host a Peacock Experience for first-year students at the Fayette campus August 17-19, featuring Matriculation Convocation at 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 17, and a weekend of orientation and socializing opportunities. All students return Sunday, August 19, with an all-campus picnic at 5 p.m. Sunday.
