Upper Iowa University hosts 'Big Dream Gathering'
FAYETTE, Iowa (February 9, 2012) - Upper Iowa University is hosting a "Big Dream Gathering" from 6 to 9 p.m. February 23 in the Student Center Ballroom. The event invites attendees to share their big dreams, write them down on paper, and take the first step toward realizing their dreams, according to co-founder Mitch Matthews, who will speak at the event.
"We've seen a lot of people go after their big dreams even in hard times because they've written those dreams down and gotten some help," Matthews said. And we know that real people going after big dreams is what made this country great. It's been amazing to see what happens when people have a safe environment in which to share their big dreams with others."
The Big Dream Gathering at Upper Iowa University is co-sponsored by External Affairs, the Department of Alumni Relations and Advancement, the Office of Career Development, and the Office of Student Activities.
