FAYETTE, Iowa (April 11, 2014) – Upper Iowa University will officially open its nine-hole disc golf course at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22.
The course is located near the old UIU practice field on the east side of the university campus in Fayette. The course can be accessed from the Fayette Recreational Trail on East Madison Street.
A brief ribbon-cutting ceremony will be followed by a challenge competition between UIU President Bill Duffy, Fayette Mayor Andrew Wenthe, and UIU students. A tournament for anyone interested will follow the ceremonies.
