Upper Iowa University Strategic Positioning Initiative
Just as the first moon landing was considered one of the greatest accomplishments for mankind, the results of the Academic Distinctiveness Initiative will be a significant milestone for us in the academic realm.
UIU’s place among peer institutions will be defined so as to distinguish us from our competition and secure our future in the marketplace.
This strategic positioning initiative will be a multi-year engagement (Phase I, Phase II, Phase III) that will generate achievable, measurable recommendations for establishing and sustaining a differentiated identity for UIU and include a comprehensive, integrated marketing campaign.
Phase I has already begun with several committee selections, introduction to faculty and staff, and an interview process to find a worthy partner in this venture.
We encourage you to read the Progress Report; to stay informed by bookmarking and checking this site regularly; and, most important, give us your input at anytime.
Only by working together will we achieve success!
