For over 145 years, Upper Iowa University has had a proud tradition of graduating teachers, coaches and business leaders. These programs continue to be among the institution's greatest strengths. Bill Andres, UIU Alumnus and BenefactorWilliam A. Andres was born in Fayette, Iowa in 1926, where his parents owned and operated a grocery and dry goods store called the Clover Farm Store. He grew up in Fayette, attended Fayette Consolidated Schools, and graduated from Fayette High School. Bill was accepted to Upper Iowa University on scholarship, graduating in 1948 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
