The Emerging Leader in U-IU
Upper Iowa’s continued growth and expansion has inspired the development of a series that shows what it means (and what it takes!) to be an effective leader in any setting or situation. This program, the Emerging Leader in U-IU, will facilitate students’ growth and development of the skills and traits necessary to be a successful and respected leader.
The Emerging Leader in U-IU’s intention is to develop, train, prepare, and bolster future leaders to be able to accomplish things that they never thought possible. UIU does this by bringing in nationally renowned speakers as well as some of UIU’s own faculty and staff to address the various aspects of success and leadership and how those traits can be coupled together to make a flourishing and thriving individual, not only in college but also in life after UIU.
"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." — John Quincy Adams
The Emerging Leader in U-IU Presentations
Presentations will be held in the Ballroom of the Student Center at 7 p.m.
Rewards will be given to students who attend 2, 4, 6, 8, or all 10 of the leadership presentations.
