To be eligible for
admission in the UIU MBA program, applicants must have not less than a 2.5
Grade Point Average (GPA) on a 4 point scale for all undergraduate work
completed, or a 2.7 GPA for the last 60 semester credits of work completed. Students with a GPA less than the
requirement may submit GRE or GMAT test results. GRE and GMAT scores are evaluated in the context of the student’s
total record. UIU accepts CLEP testing
and ACE recommended equivalencies as satisfaction of foundational course requirements.
UIU requires applicants
planning to choose the MBA Accounting emphasis to have an undergraduate major
in accounting, or 30 semester credits of undergraduate accounting
coursework. CSM does not offer an
undergraduate accounting major and offers an accounting minor of 6 courses (18
semester credits). Additional
accounting courses available at CSM, excluding ACC 388 Experimental Courses and
ACC 391 Independent Study, allow for CSM students to take a total of 27
semester credits of accounting coursework.
CSM students who plan to
choose the MBA accounting emphasis may enroll in the following online courses
subject to approval of each student’s enrollment by CSM in accordance with
CSM’s published policy on “Courses at Other Institutions.”
