Welcome to Academic Support and the Tutor Center at Upper Iowa University.
The Tutor Center is located on the second floor of the Henderson-Wilder Library and provides tutoring services for math and writing, a drop-in writing lab, as well as tutoring for a variety of other subjects as listed in the schedule. The center is administered by two co-coordinators who also oversee a variety of other academic support activities, including the Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) program which provides study sessions or tutoring support for select courses throughout the year. Academic Support also services workshop students, provides a calculator checkout, and offers a variety of presentations and handouts regarding frequently asked writing-related questions. Drop in for a visit, schedule an appointment, or inquire about how we may be of assistance to you in reaching your academic goals!
