As
we were wrapping up after a recent installation of the "Cloud Project:
Out of Dreams" at a friends' farm, I asked one of the people who had
helped with the project what his impressions were. What became most apparent
to him was how much this project is about scale and contradiction. He very
rationally stated 'well, clouds are made of water but yet, here was a cloud
on fire' and also as he became more a part of the project he was delighted
by the opportunity to interact with "elements of nature" and witness
an absurd sense of scale where "giants" are hoisting up clouds. |
