Our Purpose
Beta Theta Omega

• provides intellectual, cultural, and social development opportunities throughout the campus community.
• promotes and assist Upper Iowa University in providing an atmosphere conducive to academic, social and cultural growth.
• promotes and provide opportunities for the members of Beta Theta Omega to develop and strengthen self-confidence and personal integrity.
• gives members of Beta Theta Omega the consciousness and commitment that will instruct them to use their capability to advance themselves, their gender, and the whole of humanity to a higher level of human life.
• promotes an awareness of the history and culture of people of women.
• raises the political consciousness of the members of Beta Theta Omega and the community with emphasis on but not restricted to issues that affect women.
• promotes unity among students, faculty and staff regardless of race, ethnicity, ability, sexual orientation, and political affiliation.
