Fayette, Iowa (April 6, 2006) The Upper Iowa University art department is pleased to announce the senior exhibit of Melissa Davidson of Wabasha, Minn., at its Edgar Fine Arts Gallery from April 20 through May 6.
Davidson will exhibit still life paintings in oil that focus on the use of color and light. According to John Siblik, UIU assistant professor of art, “Melissa has an amazing sense of color. The level of understanding with regard to light and the confidence with which she approaches color are rarely present in so young an artist.”
