Upper Iowa University’s Czajkowski earns doctorate

Fayette, Iowa (June 29, 2006) – Dr. Joyce M. Czajkowski, executive director for quality assurance for Upper Iowa University, recently earned her Ph.D. in higher education administration from Capella University.

Dr. Czajkowski’s dissertation is titled, "Success factors in higher education collaborations: A collaboration success measurement model." Based on research, the model was created to assist two- and four-year institutions in the development and maintenance of successful inter-institutional collaborations.

In addition to her doctorate, Dr. Czajkowski has a Master of Science degree in education from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse with an emphasis in college student development and administration, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a major in journalism/public relations.

Dr. Czajkowski will participate in Capella’s commencement exercises in Minneapolis on August 12. She currently resides in Wauzeka, Wisconsin with her husband, Jim.
