Fayette, Iowa— Upper Iowa University’s Online Masters of Business Administration Degree Program has been named a “Top 25 Best Buy MBA” by GetEducated.com, a counseling center dedicated to showcasing accredited online degrees.
A Top 25 Best Buy means that Upper Iowa delivers a high-quality distance education to a national audience at tuition below the national average. Upper Iowa was ranked number 17, beating out more than 100 other accredited distance-learning M.B.A. programs nation-wide.
David Binder, Online Program director at Upper Iowa, attributes the “Best Buy” selection to program quality, in addition to affordable tuition. “Faculty members for the M.B.A. program are selected for a combination of academic credentials and real world business experience,” Binder said. “About 80 percent of our M.B.A. faculty members are doctorally qualified and all are practitioners in their fields. We try to make the M.B.A. curriculum both relevant and challenging.”
First-rate students further bolster the quality of the Online Program. Binder notes that undergraduate grade-point average of students admitted to the M.B.A. program this academic year is above 3.4.
